|

We have a wiki now to coordinate this whole thing: http://international.piratenpartei.de (thanks to ppgermany).
Hi,
in Austria a international pirate party workshop is currently being set up. It will probably stretch over a couple of days (iirc), however the biggest event will be on 10. June 2007.
Rickard will join us from Sweden (yay for flying) and we want to gather as many pirates from all over europe as possible.
We've got a little funding, but I'm not too sure how it will be distributed. We might be able to help people a little with their travel expense, but don't count on that. Unfortunately all pirate parties are pretty low on money. :/
One of the goals is to build a list of 50 reasons and 100 wishes why the pirate parties are more than necessary atm. It would be great if we could start working on that somehow beforehand.
cheers,
Florian _________________ "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

I guess that depends on how much comfort you want
Maybe it's also possible to have some people lend some spare room for pirates for free. _________________ "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

What do we need to do? How likely is it to get help? _________________ "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

ok, this sounds good. we need to setup planning for the workshop anyway.
what's there to do?
* bring the announcement on the pp-international frontpage
* compile a list of participants
* check how/wether we can subsidize peoples travel/staying expenses
it would probably be a good idea to have a seperate wiki for the whole workshop - could somebody set one up? _________________ "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

Of course we planned it this weekend and here it is:
http://international.piratenpartei.de/
I think from germany we will fill at least one car to form a delegation for this. So travel costs are no problem. But are there possibilities for camping in a garden of yours?
Also if the travel planing is done early enough it _might_ be possible to free some money for travel/accommodation for those who cannot afford from the german pirate party. |
